By Car
It is about a 2.5 hour drive from Los Angeles. It is about 4.5 hours from San Diego and the Bay Area.
By Plane
The best airports are San Luis Obispo (SBP), Santa Barbara (SBA), or Los Angeles (LAX). You will need to rent a car from all airports. There are very limited ride shares in the area.
